Jayden Teoh

I am here to officially announce that we have named our first son as Jayden Teoh.

Jayden means one who is thankful to God; God has heard. A form of Jade, resembling the green gemstone. Based on research, most people would imagine a person with the name Jayden to be wealthy, friendly and carefree.

We think Jayden suits Jo Junior well. It is final count down! Jayden is meeting everyone next Wednesday!

To my boy,
Daddy and mummy named you Jayden. We hope you will be a thankful, friendly and carefree person. Mummy would like to see you in smiling face, and be a happy person always!

37 weeks pregnancy

I had my last check-up this morning. The next time I see my doctor will be next Wednesday (29 July) for C-section. Jo Junior is now 2.50kg, small size but within normal range. He is healthy.

I had bleeding again last night, around 9pm something. It was quite similar to what happened last time. I monitored my vaginal discharge the whole night until I saw my doctor this morning. I felt better when it became spottings this morning. Also, I found contractions more often since last night even though I took Ventolin to control that. I highlighted all these to my doctor during the check-up. He advised me not to walk too much, and have as much rest as possible.

I pray that my vaginal discharge will back to normal, and contractions will reduce. I pray that Jo Junior will stay inside me until the decided operation date.

To my boy,
Be good boy. Stay inside until 29 July, make sure you are healthy and strong before you meet daddy and mummy on 29 July. Both of us must work together and let mummy's vaginal discharge back to normal. Daddy and mummy love you~ muaks!

36 weeks pregnancy

I'm 36 weeks pregnant now. I went to check-up few days ago, with a hope that I can still try for normal delivery. But my doctor told me not to, because my placenta is still very close to my cervix. He suggested a C-section on 29 July, which is 2 weeks later. By that time, Jo Junior will be 38 weeks and suitable for delivery.

Frankly speaking, I was quite disappointed when I heard about the news. And I started worrying about the C-section and things thereafter. I became very emotional and moody, and I cried. I am better now and start recalling what happened to me that day. I think I was not mentally prepared. Although I knew I may go through C-section and Jo Junior may need to come out earlier, but I didn't really prepare myself for that. Luckily I manage to overcome that, and I'm now ready for it!

To my boy,
Dad and mum are going to meet you on 29 July 09. That will be a very special day. We can't wait to see you... We love you~

Fleurs De Pêcher

L'occitane ~ Peach Blossom Shower Polishing Nectar

Enriched with fine polishing peach pit particles and softening peach pit oil, the Shower Polishing Nectar transforms into a satiny form that gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin.

I tried it today and I like the feeling after using it. It is a combination of shower oil and body scrub. It keeps my skin smooth, soft and with light fragrance~

Jo Junior the little sailor

Mag bought Jo Junior a sailor suit. It may be a bit too big for him now, but he will eventually grow into it. I think he will look very cute and nice in this sailor suit. Imagine my boy wearing this sailor suit, singing the Popeye Song...

I'm Popeye the Sailor Man
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man
I'm strong to the finish
Cause i eats me spinach
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man

Not only this, Mag also bought him a little learning library. This is a very good material for him to learn up all means of transportation.

Mag, thanks a lot! :)

My slimming target

My school friends gave me a great surprise! They bought me clothes and couriered to me. I received the parcel yesterday and was delighted that those garments are what I wanted to buy earlier.

A knitted cardigan, in greyish brown. I always like knitted cardigan as it can be either feminine or stylish, depending on how you mix and match. This piece is best match with slim cut jeans or legging. It will look very nice with belt too.

A sleeveless dress with decorative shinning waist line, simple and nice. I always like simple one-piece dress because it can save my time in mixing and matching. It can be quite casual but at the same time be very elegant after nice make-up and hair-do.

A simple black legging and denim legging. I like those buttons at the bottom of the denim legging, it makes the legging looks a bit different. Unlike other leggings I found, these leggings come with good quality.

All the above will look nice on me only if I manage to return to my body shape before pregnant. So, I will treat it as my slimming target! I will hang it in my wardrobe and look at it everyday during confinement, haha!

To pee or not to pee?

My brother, Vincent just came back from Australia for vacation and he brought back two cute rompers for Jo Junior.

Unlike normal rompers that always have animals or cartoon characters printed on, these rompers have cute but meaningful wordings. I like those wordings! It will be cute if Jo Junior really thinks the same when he wears it!

Imagine if Jo Junior wonders:
To pee or not to pee, that is the question...
I would say:
My boy, pee only when you are wearing diapers or pampers, not to pee when mummy has just cleaned you up from previous poo-poo mess or pee-pee mess...

Imagine if Jo Junior thinks:
If I don't sleep, nobody sleeps!
I would say:
My boy, if you really think that, be good boy and sleep! Good night, muaks!

Jo Junior is now 35 weeks and 2 days old... another 5 more weeks to go. I can't wait to meet him, but at the same time hoping he will only come out in week 40. I'm counting days......

Jo Junior's 3D photo

We did a 4D scan for Jo Junior before I discharged this morning. We are able to see his every movements and features clearly! We even saw him yawning... it's really amazing!!

Jo Junior is in head-down position, and he is facing right. The medical officer tried to capture his full front view, but he covered his face with his hands. Jo then tried to 'ask' him putting down his hands. Guess what? He listened! But very soon he covered his face with his hands again. And later hugged his knees close to his face, hahaha... so many patterns!

These are some of the 3D photos we got this morning:

Jo feels so proud of Jo Junior, so am I. I think they look alike!

34 weeks pregnancy

Jo Junior is 34 weeks and 3 days old today. He has gained 0.45kg in 4 weeks time and is now 2.05kg, within normal weight range. He is in head-down position. I’m glad to see him today!

My tummy is very much bigger than before, and I can sometimes feel the tightness when Jo Junior changes his position. I can even feel his knee cap or elbow now. He is getting a little bit naughty to his father now. I always ask Jo to feel his movements when he is moving inside, and he will immediately stop once Jo touches my abdomen, and resume moving once Jo leaves his hands from my abdomen, haha… But soon he will be good boy again and react to his father’s call. They are building a father and son bond now...

Again... I admitted to hospital

It was my third day back to work after 2 weeks rest. On our way back home, I was sitting at the back and felt something ‘flowing’ out from the bottom. I wasn’t quite sure what that was. Jo noticed my face changed and insisted me to check. It was blood, more than last time, in brownish red.

The first thing came into my mind: I may deliver soon. Instead of heading straight to hospital, I asked Jo to send me home to take shower as I can only take shower at least 10 days after delivery. When we reached the hospital, I know what was going to happen. Just like before, I was wheeled into the labour room and followed by several check-ups.

Doctor came later and had another round of check-ups. He checked inside and said there was no bleeding. Those bleeding and blood clot I just had, according to the color I mentioned, may be those left over from last bleeding. Compared to last round, I found this round was not as serious because I was allowed to eat, to toilet and no steroid jabs were given. And, I was transferred to normal ward after 2 – 3 hours observation in the labour room.

Again, I made my family and friends worried, especially Jo. I know he doesn’t really agree to let me resume working but he knows me, so he stays beside me and carefully looks after me. I know he wasn’t happy this time but he didn’t complain or blame me.

Actually I am going to discuss with my superior regarding my working time and arrangement this coming Friday. I am requesting for lesser days to office and work from home. I know Jo is very worried everyday when he sends me to work. And I think he will be happy if he knows about the surprise. But I just don’t have enough time to do that before things happened.

No more surprise, I am going to work from home. Jo Junior is now 34 weeks old and we have another 6 more weeks to go. Jo has less worry now and he is counting days for Jo Junior’s arrival…

My birthday gift from Dabee

Dabee (my sister) bought me a water container as my 29th birthday gift. I think it is not only a birthday gift for me, but a great gift for my family! And I guess she bought it because she knows that I will be grudge in spending money on this item.

It is made in Japan, using unique formula that mixes Japan volcanic mud and minerals.

Due to its unique formula and material, this water container is able to release biogenetic ray that is beneficial for human body. This biogenetic ray helps to activate water molecules, which in turn promotes blood circulation and metabolism.

There are only two colors and two sizes available: dark brown and white, either 2.5 liter or 6.8 liter. The manufacturer decided lately to cease the production of 6.8 liter because there will be only 1 or 2 successful pieces for every 20 pieces produced. The remaining 18 pieces cannot be reused but discarded. They will continue with the production until a better formula is found. This piece in my house is the second last piece in whole Malaysia, which Dabee has searched for quite a long time before she got it.

I think most of us are aware of the benefits of volcanic mud. It is not only used in making cooking utensils but also skincare products. With this water container, I don't need to worry about heavy metals that normally found in stainless steel utensils or BPA that found in plastic wares.

Erm, I should say my Dabee has given our family a good source of healthy water...... :)
