Big Toe

Jayden was lying on the bed, lifting both hands and legs. He was moving his body left and right, his back was slightly higher... He was trying to hold on his legs. He made it at last and was in such a posture for a very long time. I realised it because he was unusually quiet, and I found that he was looking at his right foot. To be exact, he was looking at his right toe!

Poor Jayden! His sleeping suit is too small for him until his big toe comes out from the bottom. However, he seems to be amazed by his big toe. For him, it is such a big achievement to be able to torn his sleeping suit... in such a cute manner! He was looking at his big toe the rest of the night until he fall asleep.

I wonder how interesting a big toe could be. To me, it is a message: IT'S TIME TO BUY NEW SLEEPING SUIT FOR YOUR SON!!!

Anniversary gift from Aussino Malaysia

We got a great gift from Aussino Malaysia during its 7th Anniversary Sale!

This is SINO 370 thread counts, 100% cotton sateen prints set. It is available in Quilt Cover Set and Fitted Sheet Set. Quilt Cover Set comes with a quilt cover and two matching pillow cases while Fitted Sheet Set comes with a fitted sheet, two matching pillow cases and a bolster case. Both sets will cost me about RM700 during non-sale season but it only costs me less than RM270 now.

SINO allows me to have few different 'bed-look' because it comes with different matching colors in a single set. For example, quilt cover is in dark purple to light purple on one side and white on the other side. The same goes to pillow cases too!

Jo and I didn't have gift exchange or special dinner for our 1st Anniversary. But, I think it is good enough to have a new 'bed-look' on our anniversary! With this new bedsheet, I really feel like lying on the bed all day long......

Note: Aussino is having its Mid-Year Sale until 28 June 2009! Of course, the offer won't be as good as its 7th Anniversary Sale but at least it is something for Aussino Lovers. Happy shopping~~

My home sweet home

Welcome to my heaven......

This is the area where Jo and I can comfortably enjoy ourselves. I enjoy watching my favourite National Geography, Discovery and Animal Planet channels here...

Our dining room contrasts very much with the modern design in other areas. With antique marble and wood carving for the dining set and with one side of the wall painted in maroon, we have a very 'China Style' dining area.

With approximately 5 feet extension, our kitchen becomes more spacious than the original design. On the other side of the kitchen, we have a laundry area. This idea was from Jo and I like that (but I don't have a picture of that).

Obviously, this is the Liverpool Corner (our old fridge with lots of Liverpool posters). I suggested to have a proper Liverpool Corner in our side living room later, with THIS IS ANFIELD poster and other Liverpool stuffs. But for now, this is a mini corner for Jo. I guess he will start telling Jo Junior about Gerrard, Torres, Carragher and etc. when Jo Junior is one month old...

The only big thing from my Dad in this house is this old piano. And the only big thing from Jo young age are the two guitars. Erm... we are soooo musical...

I enjoy my reading in this Family Area. We are going to have our wedding photo hang up here after Jo Junior is born. This is one of my favourite area...

We have a sort of Japanese style master bedroom. Jo came out with this idea, having platform for our bed. And of course I like this idea very much. I think Jo can become a part-time interior designer ;p

Money money money....

After all our hard work in searching good contractor with good price for our house renovation, Joe and me finally appointed a contractor last Sat. I think we found a good one... Renovation work is going to start in 1 or 2 weeks time, and that's the time we start 'pergi balik' our new house.

I feel relief and happy that the main portion of our house renovation is settled. But there are still a lot of other things to be finalised. Everything involves money, and that makes me headache! Well, "Buying a house is easy, but not renovating a house". I very much agree to it now!

I feel like singing a song now....
