Missing Jo

Jo has moved to a new company. His new job requires him to be away from home frequently and his first project is to be away 5 days a week, i.e. Sunday to Thursday. I wasn't paying too much attention about it until he started travelling.

I am doing the same routine every weekday... Wake up in the morning and get myself ready to work, then wake up Jayden and bring him to my mother's house. Bring him back after work, shower him, play with him and read him books before bed, feed him and make him sleep, then go to bed. These are the same routine but... Jo is not watching TV or helping house chores downstairs when I am busy with Jayden, Jo is not sitting besides us when I am playing with Jayden or reading him books, Jo is not around to turn on the alarm and put on blanket on us when we fall asleep...

I am also doing the same routine every Sunday... Wake up early morning to prepare Jayden's meals, do some house chores before the rest wakes up, taking breakfast with Jayden, bath Jayden and play with him, feed him lunch then make him sleep, having some private time during Jayden afternoon nap, feed him dinner when he is awake, shower him, play with him and read him books before bed, feed him and make him sleep, then go to bed. Again the same routine but... Jo is not in the football field with his friends when Jayden is taking nap or when I'm enjoying my private time, Jo won't be back home for dinner with us on Sunday night, no more family day on Sunday...

I never expect myself to feel so lonely and sad when Jo needs to work away from home. In fact, I was the one kept pushing him out for oversea work. I think I must be too crazy or over estimated myself... I cried the moment he left home, that really surprised me! I realised I'm so Jo's wife now and I miss him very much! I know I will soon get use to it, but I'm not yet now...

New purse from hubby~~~

I hardly ask for gifts, as a result, Jo hardly buys me gifts. I am ok with that because I prefer spending my own money for things that I like instead of asking him to pay and give me as a gift. I think it has become a habit for both of us.

Lately, I found my purse spoilt. It is beyond repair and I need to get a new one.

"See! My purse koyak already!" I casually complained to Jo.
"Just get a new one..."
"Em, will see how... Eh, I remember you bought me a purse for my birthday many years ago."
"So? Are you hinting anything?" Jo smiled.
"No, I didn't mean anything." I really didn't mean anything. But I started to think differently when Jo asked me that question. Haha...

Few days later......

"I want a gift from you!" I said to Jo.
"What?"
"A purse for my birthday. My birthday month is June, you have about six months to prepare."
"Em, okay!" Jo replied, with firm tone.

But Jo didn't wait until my birthday...

Great daddy!

I was away to China for the last five days and Jo was the one taking care of Jayden other than my mum. It was the first time the father and son being together without me...

I know Jo can handle his boy for sure, but I was still worried. I must say that Jayden was really a good boy when I was not around. I remember I told him to be good before I left home and he did it! And I must praise Jo for his ability, willingness and patience in taking care of his little hero while I was away. He not only took care of Jayden but also did all the house cleaning. I'm sure not many daddies willing and able to do that, but my daddy Jo at home did it very well!!

Unlike most of the men, Jo always give me a hand in all the house chores. He will wash clothes, mop floor, wash toilets... And he cares of me even more than before. He will wake up in the middle of the night to place a pillow behind my back (to reduce my backache) when I'm breastfeeding Jayden. Sometimes he may even massage for me while I'm breastfeeding Jayden. He will help to put Jayden to sleep when I don't feel well, giving me more time to rest.

I know all these don't come for sure and should not take things for granted. It is something that I should cherish and appreciate. I believe in 'Like father like son'. I hope Jayden will grow into a man like his father.

Dear, thanks a lot!

Oh Am Hin

A magic cup for Jo

I bought a nice cup for Jo when I was in Hokkaido, his first birthday present after we got married. Japanese call it ‘Magic Cup’, but I call it ‘Hamsup Cup’. Let's look at the experiment...

This looks like a normal black japanese tea cup.

It will turn into something very different when hot water poured in...

See... black was gone and something nice came out!

All naked women in different poses... interesting! Thanks to creative Japanese!

It turned into black again after the heat is gone...

I'm not a pervert nor Jo. I bought it just because it is very cute! Ha...

Very gua…”来回应呢?

Emoticons Chatting

One day in Skype, Jo was complaining that I didn’t write something about him in my blog. I told him I did, in the blog with the title "Jo cut his finger" which talked about how he cut his finger and how I ended up becoming his personal shampoo girl.

He claimed that blog wasn’t something nice… it shows his carelessness and stupidity because hardly anyone cut his own finger while opening durian. Thinking through, I agreed with him! Hahaha…

So, i promised him that i will write something about him in my blog and make sure not something that will make him 'lose face'. There he started his creative emoticons chatting:

Jo: Really? (‘think’ expression)
Fion C: Yeah dear! (‘smiley’)
Jo: Erm.. ok! I trust you! (‘big smiley’ followed by ‘smiley’)
Fion C: ... (in love)
Jo: ... (cool smiley)
Fion C: Hehehe... (giggle and blush)
Fion C: ... (dancing... time to go back)
Jo: ... (dance together... yeah! time to go back)

Jo cut his finger

Jo cut his finger yesterday while opening durian. At first, he thought it was only a small cut but it wasn’t. His finger was bleeding like hell, and both of us got a shock for few seconds before knowing what to do. Finally, his finger stopped bleeding… and he was eating the durian that caused his injury!

With this cut, he cannot wash his hair. So, I am now his personal shampoo girl. Well, I think women really have to take up different role at different time. Women… can be a cook, nanny, maid, hair stylist, personnal assistant… etc. Women can be anyone, whenever and wherever!

New jersey for The Kop

The new season EPL is coming! Liverpool FC 2008 - 2009 Home jersey is now available!

This new Home jersey for The Reds is 100% polyster with ClimaCool® technology. As usual, Adidas symbolic three strips are screened on the shoulder to sleeves area, and Adidas logo is embroidered on center chest. Carlsberg logo is screened below the Adidas logo. Liverpool official crest is embroidered on left chest.

This new jersey for The Reds has added some features which cannot be found in previous season. There is mesh print panel at each side of the jersey.

Turn to the outside back of the jersey, a gold Liver Bird is embroidered on back neck area. A red and white checkerboard pattern is on the inside back of the jersey. Further to note that, this is the first time 'This is Anfield' printed on the jersey.

Jo bought me and himself this brand new Liverpool Home jersey. Unfortunately, he couldn't find me the Ladies jersey. So he bought me the Kids jersey!!! Look at the difference between his jersey (for Men) and mine (for Kids), it's very funny! But, i appreciate that!

I'll be wearing it for any Liverpool matches, and hopefully we can wear it in Anfield! Yeah~

You'll never walk alone!

The Number 10

Number 10 was given by my husband, Jo, who is a die hard Liverpool fan. I'm not into football, I could not understand why not Number 1 but Number 10.

In our wedding website he wrote:
Everybody who is into football knows that player who wears jersey No.10 is among the most influential player in the team if not the most. I’m going to hand her the No.10 jersey because from now on she is the most influential person in my life.

This was when I became his Number 10, the most influential woman in his life.

I wonder what a woman can do to become influential to her man. Some people told me that it is some kind of natural power in the hand of a woman that makes the statement valid. If the so-called natural power is really existing, I believe it will not last forever. A good woman should know how to turn it into respects and trusts. It is an art!

It is now 1 month and 4 days since our wedding. Let's see what will happen in 1 year time...

Our new journey

Jo finally proposed to me one and a half months later after his original plan.

That day was one day before my birthday, 15th June 2007.

He asked me what do I want for my birthday, any preferred cuisine or preferred restaurant... I had no idea what he was going to do, and thought it was just for my birthday. Since it is quite near to our working place, I suggested to try out Alamanda, Putrajaya.

We reached Putrajaya at about 6pm+, but couldn't find the exit to Alamanda but to the Masjid. He asked whether I know the way back to the Masjid from Alamanda. Still, I had no idea about his plan. We finally reached Alamanda but he had no intention in looking out for dining place. Instead, he kept looking at his watch as if he was going some where...

After a short window shopping, we left Alamanda... and I was puzzled. We went back to that Masjid and i was thinking, "What's that so special about this Masjid???". He walked here and there, looking for something. Finally we came to the Tasik Cruise.

I thought it would be a good idea for us to have dinner in the cruise NEXT TIME, but he brought me into the Diners' Lounge. Waiters started to serve us with some appetizers and drinks. A lady walked in and passed him a receipt!

Well, I was so surprised as I had no clue about all these. I looked at him, the man right in front of me... I, speechless...... At the same time I was so amazed that I actually suggested coming to Putrajaya where he wanted to bring me to.

"Do you want to sleep beside me every night, from now on?"
"What do you expect me to answer?"
"Do you want to be with me the rest of your life?"
"......"
"???"
"erm.............."
I was speechless... I smiled... and I nodded my head...

We went into the cruise for fine dining... there were only 3 couples in the cruise, including Jo and me. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, the scenery was nice, the cook was friendly... everything was so matched and complete!

Jo wanted to propose to me because he wanted to give me a special moment that I can recall when I get old.

Dear, you did it! It is memorable and unforgettable~

We are going to start our new journey. A journey with you and me, hand in hand......

Touching

Jo planned to propose to me on 1 May. The reason was 1 May is a special day for me... a day I will always be moody and down. He wanted to make a total change and wanted me to feel happy on 1 May in the future.

Even though he didn't manage to do it because I refused to go out on this day (as I didn't know his intention earlier!!!)... but I am still very happy. And, I am so touched about his idea...

He is always so cool yet so caring. I'm waiting for the day when he manages to propose to me, and my answer will be...

To be continued... ;-)

Sorry my dear...

Jo is very mad today because I made him waiting for nearly 2 hours. We are working in the same place and go to work in one car. He couldn't leave me alone in the office and had to wait until I finished my work.

I didn't mean it but I got some emergency call. Well, this is my work and it used to be like this. And, it's so happened that he got some appointment today but I screwed all up. He was very quiet on the way home and only answered my questions in a single word: em... o... ya...

I'm feeling guilty and happy at the same time. Feeling guilty because i made him waiting and spoiled his programme. But, I feel happy because he bothers to angry.

Instead of feeling happy, I can chose to angry and blame on him for not being understanding. But, why should I? He calmed down after the dinner and talked to me as if nothing happened. I should be happy! :)

Sorry my dear...
